Lotus flowers in Chiba Park

In July 2020, I went to see lotus flowers in Chiba Park in Chiba city in Chiba prefecture. The nearest station is Chiba Kōen (Chiba Park) station on the monorail called town liner, and the park is in front of the station, but we can walk from JR Chiba station to the park in about 10 minutes too. There is a parking area in the park which can accomodate about 50 cars, but I don’t recommend taking a car because there is a possibility that it will be full.

There is a big pond called Watauchi-ike in the park, but the lotuses are in a small pond next to it. When I visited there, some lotus flowers were blooming. It was so beautiful.

There are some flowers which bloom in different seasons in the park. On that day, some flowers were blooming besides lotus flowers. For example, the agapanthus flowers and the sunflowers. There were other small flowers whose name I don’t know too and a butterfly was playing among the flowers. They smelled very good.
