Higashi-Urawa in Saitama prefecture

In July 2020, I went to Higashi-Urawa (East Urawa) Station on the JR line and walked near the station. In the recent years, there are some high apartment buildings (about 5 stories), but the nature and a lot of farmlands remain now.

I walked along the waterway to the North. There were some vegetable fields, rice fields, and a control pond. The thin road along the waterway has a lot of cherry trees, so it seems that the cherry blossoms are in full bloom every year in spring.

I might have walked for about 30 minutes. I was a long way from the station, so I began to return for the station. I walked thinking about something else. I was interested in what looked like a small mountain close to the station.

I found the thin Canal remains when I went there. Next, I found some bamboo shoot shaped stones. I thought why bamboo shoots. It was a park(called Minuma Tsūsen-bori Park). I understood that there were bamboo forests when I looked closely. So I got that they were the bamboo shoots.
