Kita-no-maru Park

This article is about Tayasu-mon gate and Shimizu-mon gate. They are in Kita-no-maru Park, Chiyoda ward, Tōkyō. I researched into them by reading some books. I understood that the Park was North enclosure of Edo castle. And there were Tayasu family’s mansions and Shimizu family’s mansions in the park. I have some pictures of the gates because I have been to the park before and took some pictures of them. I thought that I also want to wright about the park, but I had no pictures of it. So I went to the park and took some pictures.

Now, it is autumn, so I was thinking that I want to see red spider lilies somewhere. When I went to the park, there were a lot of those flowers. They were red beautiful flowers. They were not a cluster, but blooming in small groups or just one flower.

I also saw Tayasu-mon gate and Shimizu-mon gate. The inside of the gate and the stone steps were covered with autumn grass and flowers. When I came there in winter, there was nothing, but this time the scenery was completely autumn.
