Mathematics and physics
When I was child, I was interested in electronics and robots. So I studied electronics in high school and university. I studied mathematics and physics very hard, but I could not understand them. Why could I not understand them? Because I was studying them in Japanese, I thought.
The explanation is in Japanese, but the numerical formula uses the alphabet and the Greek alphabet. This is difficult for me. For example, there is a numerical formula.
V = I * R (Ohm’s law)
When I studied it in Japanese, I learned that V is Denatsu(電圧), I is Denryū(電流), R is Teikō(抵抗). But I did not understand, why use V for the symbol? If I studied them in English, I might understand that V is voltage, so it uses V for the symbol. Similarly, R is resistance, so it uses R for the symbol. (I is current, but I do not know that why we use I for the symbol.)
When I was younger, I could not understand English either. But I am studying English now, and I am starting to understand it little by little. So I am thinking that I want to study mathematics and physics again in English.
