Gongendo Park is located in Satte City, Saitama. The park is famous for cherry blossoms and canola fields in spring. The park is not one big park. It is divided into the park from No.1 Park to No.4 Park. The flowers are in No.4 Park, and the park is bordering the Naka River.
How to get the park? I think that there are under the three ways.
1. Take their own car
2. Take a bus from Satte Station on the Tobu-nikko line
3. Take a walk from Satte Station on the Tobu-nikko line
Many people were taking their own car, so the parking lots were pretty crowed even on a weekend morning. What if this is afternoon on a holiday? We expect that the parking lots are really busy. How much does parking cost? According to the park official web site, it is usually free, however there is a charge during the festival in cherry blossom season.
If we take the train, we can use Minami-Kurihashi Station and Satte Station, on the Tobu-nikko line. But Satte Station is nearer than Minami-Kurihashi Station.
We take a bus from Satte Station is could be ok. But, how many buses are there per hour? According to the time table, it is about a bus per hour. Sometimes there is not a bus in an hour. For example, it is 10 o’clock a.m. on weekdays.
Such people may be rare that take a walk from the station to the park, but I took a walk to the park. I could get the park about 30 minutes.

There are about 1000 cherry blossoms called Somei-yoshino on the bank stretch for 1 km. Cherry blossoms and canola flowers were just in full bloom.

If we cross the bridge and go to the opposite side of the Naka River, we will get No.3 Park. There is a small hill in the park, so we can see the surroundings and other cherry blossoms from the hill.
