Stone walls of Akasaka-mon Gate

 At the top of slope close to Nagata-cho Station used to be Akasaka-mon Gate of Edo Castle. Though the gate was removed in the Meiji period, parts of the stone walls are still there and we can see them.

 If we look closely at the stone walls, we can see that there are some marks.

Benkei Moat

 There were moats on both sides of the slope. The Benkei moat on the north side still remains, however the moat that the south side has been reclaimed.
